The Peltier Effect describes to the transfer of heat energy between two materials when electric current is applied. In an AC system this is referred to as thermo-electric cooling. The therme pad consists of two halves molded in radiator profiles, separated in the middle by an insulating barrier. The top is perforated for airflow, housing two over-sized 8” diameter fans. The size allows for a slower and quieter running speed without sacrificing air volume. As the bottom radiator heats up, it cools the top and transfers heat away from the laptop, diffusing it into the table.
